| Featuring 200 mm diameter, 110 mm extra-wide wheels and Ford’s special XTR™ Tread tires, “can’t” isn’t in the F-150 Big Foot’s vocabulary. Made for stability while ripping up any terrain at high speed, the 420 mm wheelbase and 472 mm tread guarantee an equal mix of speed and handling. The Ford XTR™ Tread is an stable, high-grip tread which maximizes cornering and climbing grip, perfect for tight corners and big boulders. Pre-glued tires feature foam inserts for maximum durability and handling. The extra large wheels are perfect for transferring maximum power; their construction is of high-quality impact-molded plastic with Octa-Brace slot and spoke support for the roughest impacts and stiffest turn performance. Four fully independent suspension arm/shock absorbers for bouncy response and awesome traction are the heart of the F-150’s handling performance. With 70 mm ground clearance and super-thick, extra durable full-metal shock absorbers, this vehicle was made for the dirt and rocks, without sacrificing turning and handling performance. |
| The independent suspension system has fully adjustable geometry (2-position rear shock absorbers, threaded cap adjustable spring load) and features medium-travel front and long-travel rear neon coil-over 22mm diameter shock absorbers, CNC-machined alloy front/rear shock towers and high quality alloy control arms. The Ford-styled shocks feature optimized oils, thick springs, 6mm extra-thick shafts, anodized blue alloy caps, carbon black aluminum bodies, and conical pistons for soft bound and quick rebound. Spring pre-load is adjustable via threaded cap for ultimate precision and customization. | One of the most important aspects of a truck is how well it handles and how well you can control it. Like the rest of the F-150 Big Foot, the steering system is top notch, featuring only the highest quality metal and most durable designs. Features include 8mm thick true-reverse thread hexagonal turnbuckles for on-the-fly toe-in adjustment, CNC-machined alloy steering knuckles, all metal steering linkages and rack bar, beefed up bellcrank control system, and adjustable servo. The 15-kg torque, center-mounted dual-arm control servo is specially engineered for extreme precision and response, just like a real F-150. The entire electronics and steering system is fully integrated and front-mounted and features alloy metal construction for above and beyond durability. Toe-in, caster, and camber adjustment is available for customizing your F-150 to your favorite setup. |
| Maximum Power Transfer Full-Metal Chassis |
| The F-150 Big Foot’s chassis is built just like the real thing – the strongest frame available. Our “Maximum Power Transfer” chassis system can take the most abuse of any chassis/suspension system out there. With a 4mm 6061-T6 aircraft-quality aluminum blue-anodized lightweight base plate, the internal components stay protected even from the worst terrain and most hostile conditions while maintaining a great power-to-weight ratio. Impacts are entirely transferred from the suspension system to the full-metal base plate and shock towers through thick front/rear suspension arms and shock absorbers. With tapered base plate edges and CNC-cut one-piece chassis for rigidity, collisions and impacts won’t bend the chassis – you’d expect nothing less from a Ford. |
