VVTec Racing’s Warlord nitro buggy is an off-road beast that is made to be raced. Featuring unmatched performance and handling in the nitro category, this buggy rips up any track. Based off the Boxer Monster 1/5 gas-powered RC car, the Warlord is a miniaturized version including the same style wheels, chassis, and suspension/steering system. With big shocks, sturdy suspension, and low clearance, the Warlord was made for conquering challenging terrain at the fastest nitro speeds possible!

The Warlord’s full-time 4WD all-steel drivetrain system features three differentials and allows for maximum traction and high efficiency power transfer from engine to tires. While the competition is skidding out with their rear-wheel drive, hug the turn with all four wheels spinning! The high quality central drivetrain differential uses 14 mm SG front and rear driveshaft technology to give the best acceleration and top speed. With four wheels gripping, you can really see the difference in not only acceleration but super grip traction.

All drivetrain components are manufactured from high quality steel, giving you the best power-to-weight ratio without sacrificing durability. Features include sealed oil viscous planetary differentials, steel helical cut rings and pinions, slipper clutch, extra thick steel driveshafts, and 15.8:1 gear ratio. Racing in the dirt? The Warlord can’t be beat. Four fully independent wishbone suspension arm/shock absorbers and full-metal shock towers make up the most impressive feature of the Warlord. With super-thick, extra-long reinforced suspension arms, and longer control arms, this vehicle was made for the dirt and rocks, without sacrificing turning and handling performance. The huge suspension system has fully adjustable geometry (30-position rear shock absorbers, 25-position front shock absorbers, 5-position rear control arms, 2-position front control arms) and features massive long-travel coil-over 15 mm diameter shock absorbers, CNC-machined alloy front/rear shock towers and high quality alloy control arms.

The extra-large shocks feature thick springs, 6mm extra-thick shafts, natural aluminum bodies, and conical pistons for soft bound and quick rebound. Spring pre-load is adjustable via clip-on spacers for ultimate precision and customization. Long  travel, optimized oils, and conical pistons increase stability over rough terrain without sacrificing performance. These shock absorbers are optimized for tighter turning off-road performance; amazing handling combined with the ability to perform on any surface make the Warlord ideal for off-road racing!
