High Power 23cc gas-powered Engine


The racing-designed two-stroke High Output Power (HPO) 23cc engine is the perfect size for the lightweight Spyder. For a vehicle made for speed, the engine was paramount, and we’ve outdone ourselves with this smooth idling, easy tuning, highly reliable piece of machinery. Specially optimized for high acceleration and awesome top speed, this engine was made to be on the track. With a high flow optimized exhaust system and superior machining quality, this engine packs a punch for its size while keeping maintenance problems down. An acceleration of ____ and a top speed of _____ give the Spyder some of the best speed stats out there. This two-stroke, single cylinder engine comes protected from debris and water, and features a high durability aluminum piston and heavy-duty connecting rod for better sealing and compression. Power upgrades are available for this engine, but with more displacement then the closest competitors, unbeatable power comes standard!
 

Ultra Precision Steering System w/ Dual-Arm Center-Fed Control


One of the most important aspects of a racing buggy is how well it handles and how well you can control it. Like the rest of the Spyder, the steering system is top notch, featuring only the highest quality metal and most durable designs. Features include 8mm thick true-reverse thread hexagonal turnbuckles for on-the-fly toe-in adjustment, CNC-machined alloy steering knuckles, all metal steering linkages and rack bar, beefed up bellcrank control system, and adjustable servo. The 15-kg torque, center-mounted dual-arm control servo is specially engineered for extreme precision and response. The entire electronics and steering system is fully integrated and front-mounted and features alloy metal construction for above and beyond durability. Toe-in, caster, and camber adjustment is available for customizing your racing setup. Most components are thicker than you will even find in aftermarket components! With stiff flex for the ultimate performance, there isn’t a better steering system out there.
 
 

Independent Full-Metal Suspension System


Racing on the dirt, mud, or sand? The Spyder can’t be beat. Four fully independent suspension arm/shock absorbers for hair-trigger response and awesome traction are the heart of the Spyder’s handling performance. With super-thick, extra durable full-metal shock absorbers with sport suspension tuning, this vehicle was made for the dirt and rocks, without sacrificing turning and handling performance. The Spyder is ideally suited for rough tracks where performance, handling and turn radius can’t be compromised.
 
 
The independent suspension system has fully adjustable geometry (2-position rear shock absorbers, threaded cap adjustable spring load) and features medium-travel neon coil-over 22mm diameter shock absorbers, CNC-machined alloy front/rear shock towers and high quality alloy control arms. The racing-designed shocks feature thick springs, 6mm extra-thick shafts, anodized blue alloy caps, carbon black aluminum bodies, and conical pistons for soft bound and quick rebound. Spring pre-load is adjustable via threaded cap for ultimate precision and customization. Medium travel, optimized oils, and conical pistons increase stability over rough terrain without sacrificing performance. These shock absorbers are optimized for tighter turning off-road performance; amazing handling combined with the ability to perform on any surface make the Spyder ideal for off-road racing!
 
 

Full-Metal Hardened Transmission System


For maximum power transfer with incredible durability and construction quality, nothing beats the Spyder’s all steel transmission system. From the clutch all the way to the wheels, all components are made of industry leading high quality hardened steel. Features include a planetary differential with spider gears and steel helical cut rings and pinions, extra-thick universal spline driveshafts, and 6:1 gear ratio. The speed-optimized gear ratio equals insane acceleration and uncompromised top speed, designed with a light, fast chassis in mind. With maximum power transfer to the rear wheels, you’ll see lightning fast acceleration off the line and easily maintainable speed through corners.
 
 

Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) Racing Traction


Featuring fully-integrated rear wheel drive, the Spyder has been optimized to drift around corners at high speed and explode off the start line. Rear wheel drive means that all the power is transferred to the back two wheels with minimum distance from the engine’s drive shaft for maximum energy conservation. For racing purposes, RWD offers unmatched acceleration and top-speed, with tight traction and handling. For unparalleled cornering speed and drifting capability, RWD is the way to go.

 

Racing-Grade Rocket Tread Tires and Extra-Large Wheels


Featuring 150 mm diameter, 62 mm wide wheels and our special aggressive Rocket Tread tires, the Spyder has the ultimate racing setup! Made for ripping up any track at high speed, the 400 mm rear wheelbase and 472 mm tread guarantee an equal mix of speed and handling. The Rocket Tread is an aggressive, spiky, racing-style tread with maximizes inertial and cornering grip, perfect for tight corners and maximum power transfer to the ground. Pre-glued tires feature foam inserts for maximum durability and handling.

 

 

The extra large wheels are perfect for transferring maximum power; their construction is of high-quality impact-molded plastic with 5-spoke Ninja Star spoke support for the roughest impacts and stiffest turn performance. Unmatched in terms of power transfer, acceleration, speed, and handling, this wheel/tire combination is the ultimate racing setup!
 

High Quality Alloy Metal Components


Unlike our competitor’s vehicles, over 75% of the Spyder is made from high quality alloy and aluminum! For areas where durability is paramount, especially in the drivetrain and suspension/steering systems, only the best quality metal parts are used. The Spyder features an all-steel drivetrain (gears, differentials, clutch, differential casing, differential protector, disc plates, axles, mounts), 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum base plate and suspension mounts, alloy suspension system (control arms, shock towers, front plate, mounts, shock absorbers, hingepins), alloy steering system (steering knuckles, bellcrank, turnbuckles/tie-rods, steering linkage, rack bar) and high-quality metal hardware (nuts, bolts, screws). Compare this to any competitor, and you won’t see this kind of quality and durability.
 
 

Maximum Power Transfer Full-Metal Chassis


The Spyder keeps it light for speed without sacrificing strength. Our “Maximum Power Transfer” chassis system can take the most abuse of any chassis/suspension system out there. With a 4mm 6061-T6 aircraft-quality aluminum blue-anodized lightweight base plate, the internal components stay protected even from the worst terrain and most hostile conditions while maintaining a great power-to-weight ratio. Impacts are entirely transferred from the suspension system to the full-metal base plate and shock towers through thick front/rear suspension arms and shock absorbers. With tapered base plate edges and CNC-cut one-piece chassis for rigidity, collisions and impacts won’t bend the chassis and add stiffness for racing performance.
 
 

High Quality Electronics and Radio System


Only the best servos and radio units go into our vehicles. Preinstalled electronics are of the highest quality and durability, with tightly sealed housing for reliability and protection. A long-range 2-channel FM 27 MHz radio system allows for lightning-quick precision control with low power consumption and great interference-resistance for the most convenience possible. A full-metal gear 15kg-cm steering servo and a 8.5kg-cm throttle/brake servo offer super fast response and added durability over regular plastic gear servos. These high-torque servos really make a difference over our competitors’, with precision-manufactured inner metal gears for super long life and extra torque. Easy to use trim settings allow you to custom tune your vehicles throttle and steering without having to take it apart and modify internals.
